Description
Kettlebell Clean & Press - Dianna
From Blue Wave Martial Arts and Fitness, this is Dianna demonstrating proper kettle bell cleans. We'll start with the kettle bell just like you normally would for a single arm swing. In the center, as you stand up instead of swinging it forward, lift it and transition with it twisting in your grip, using the grip strength in your hand keep the kettle bell from hitting your forearm too hard. Each time the kettle bell flips over try to rest it near your shoulder or just barely touching your shoulder. Your elbow will drop down each time to reset. The kettle bell easily slides over, flipping over, landing near your shoulder. The clean uses a lot of leg and the press brings the arm in which really starts to burn calories. It's normal to feel your breathing start to go faster and your heart to speed up because this is a great cardio move. When you're doing a work out you'll want to do a single arm transitional swing to keep the continuity of the exercise.
