2011 Spring Tournament
Blue Wave is proud to be hosting the spring Tae Kwon Do Championship Tournament! The 2011 St. Louis Gateway Championships will be held Friday, May 6th and Saturday, May 7th with all events at the Blue Wave studio.
Tournament Schedule
Our schedule includes a Black Belt Exam on Friday, May 6th at 6:00 p.m. Tournament competition will begin on Saturday, May 7th. See below for start times.

Preliminary rounds will conclude around 3:00 in the afternoon.
Every competitor must have the 3 patches sewn on their uniform for the tournament.
Finals matches for selected divisions, as well as closing ceremonies will occur at 6:00 Saturday evening. Following the Finals, we will have a pot luck dinner for all students, their families, instructors and Masters here at Blue Wave.
Tickets & Sales
Tickets for all spectators will be sold the day of the tournament at the door. Prices are $8 for adults (12 and older), $5 for kids (6 - 11) and children 5 and under get in free!
We will have concessions available for purchase, as well as tournament t-shirts!
Volunteers
Also, we are looking for tournament volunteers. Students, please let us know if you would be able to volunteer Friday night. Parents, we will need volunteers for Saturday. Your admission is free for your help! Available time slots are Saturday morning 6-8 a.m. for setup, 8-10 a.m., 10 a.m.-noon, and noon-2 p.m. for all other help needed.
Registration
Registration for competitors is $65 (early bird special is $60 if returned by April 30th). Any registered competitor may get in free to see the other divisions throughout the day.
