Why Personal Training?

We personalize everything to you. You will get to work one on one with a trainer who has experience and who can connect with you to help you reach your personal goals. Your workouts will be customized to specifically address the issues you want to cover in a way that makes you feel like your training time was organized and efficient. Whether your goals are health and general fitness or more specific like climbing Mount Everest or the Boston Marathon - we can accommodate you. You won’t get lost in the shuffle here because we make your success our priority. And though the training is very challenging, our studio and staff are warm and welcoming.


Small Group Training at Blue Wave

This is a great way to achieve the benefits of personal Training and also have some quality time with family or friends. We don’t charge extra to have groups as large as 4 so this makes your workouts effective and affordable. You simply take the cost of the training package and split it among your group. Sometimes a small group working together in friendly competition can be very effective to help motivate everyone involved and bring out greater results from each individual.


Sports Conditioning at Blue Wave

Do you have a young athlete with aspirations for elite level play? Let us work with that boy or girl and we will help them achieve their potential. We can work on aspects of their sport here that often get overlooked in the big group practices. And, while we will certainly strive to challenge that young athlete, we will do so in a way that remains safe and within guidelines that keep that young body developing naturally. We want them to be successful and have a long and happy career in the sport of their choice.


Team Training at Blue Wave

This is for groups bigger than 4. It can be entire softball or soccer teams or groups of friends or co-workers. Do you need an “off-season” regimen? Would you like to do some “team building” with a group from the office? Bring us your goals and we will help you realize success. We can work on acceleration, eye-hand coordination, strength and endurance, flexibility and more. Give us a call to address any specific needs.

How do I begin Personal Training?

First, thing you will need to do is simply give us a call at 636- 561-4848. We will set up a consult time with David Blevins where you will be able to talk with him about exactly what you wish to achieve through personal training. The workouts are designed to meet your fitness level but will push you a step farther to reach and exceed your goals. Next, you will pick a day and a time to begin Personal Training at Blue Wave. Personal Training hours are typically in the morning, ranging from 6:00a.m.–12:00 p.m. Finally, get ready to start seeing results! We hope to see you soon and help you begin the journey of reaching your fitness goals.

Q: How long are the sessions? 
A: Personal training sessions last 1 hour

Q: What time of day do you offer personal training?
A: Personal training is offered during the day, usually from 6:00 am to 12:00noon.  To inquire about availability callus at 636-561-4848.


Q: How many times per week do you suggest scheduling personal training?
A: We have clients that train 1, 2 and3 times per week but we are happy to work according to your schedule and goals.


Q: What do I wear to a personal training session and is there anything I need to bring?
A: Wear comfortable workout clothes that you can easily move around in and you'll need to bring a pair of aerobics or cross-training shoes that you wear indoors only (and are clean on the bottom). You probably will also want to bring a water bottle and a sweat towel.


Q: If I'm out of shape, is personal training the right program for me?
A: David Blevins forms the workout to meet your fitness level but pushes you a step further to reach and exceed your goals!


Q: Is there an age requirement for Personal Training?
A: Because the sessions are designed to fit your specific goals we offer our sessions to all ages. David will keep you motivated and moving towards your goals each session.
