Cardio Kickboxing

Are you looking for a fun and energizing group class that will get your engine running and burn some calories? Then you should come and try our Cardio Kickboxing class.

The music is always current and will make you feel like going hard. Our facility is clean, spacious, and up to date with the latest equipment. And the instructor, Master David Blevins, always keeps class fun by continually adding new routines.

Here at Blue Wave we have put our own spin on the Cardio Kickboxing idea. Over the past 10 years we have continued to evolve as our clients asked for it. First we started with a class much like the Tae Bo program. A year later we added the use of heavy bags. Since then we have incorporated medicine balls, jump ropes, kettlebells, Boxing routines, Swiss balls, stretch bands, Pilates moves, dumbbells, Bulgarian sand bags, and some hard core intensive core-training. It is now the most popular class of its kind in St. Charles County.

If you are ready to get started in a fitness program that you will LOVE try the Cardio Kickboxing class at Blue Wave Martial Arts and Fitness. You'll wonder why you waited so long.

~Before joining Blue Wave Kickboxing, I had gained 20 pounds in the past year.  I would look forward to taking mid-morning naps then sleep through the afternoon.  I could not continue on like that, so I joined kickboxing.  Since then, I can honestly say my energy level has improved dramatically.

At Blue Wave you can never anticipate what the next class will be like because each class is different.  That is what keeps you coming back.  Great music, great workout and great fun.

I would have to say I am addicted!

~I was hooked after my first class! Great people, great music and wonderful instruction make kickboxing fun.  No  two workouts are the same and I always look forward to what challenges each class will hold.  Physically I feel fantastic with a satisfying sense of accomplishment after workouts.

~As a former cardio junkie, I have to say I have been overwhelmed and surprised with the results I have found at Blue Wave.  A friend recommended Master Blevins to me a few years ago.  She said it was the best workout she had ever had, and I have to say I was a bit skeptical.  After all, I had been running for most of my life and had taken several classes along the way.  But....I can't thank her enough for sharing her "secret" with me!  I have never seen the results and energy that come with kickboxing and fitness training at Blue Wave.  Dave has a gentle yet persuasive way of encouraging everyone to achieve their utmost potential.  You get what you put into it, and he gives you every opportunity to give it all and then some.  You really can do more than you think.  I had upper back pain and have now built strength around those weak muscles that I once thought would stop me from exercising.  Every time I work out, I am amazed that Dave finds a new muscle to challenge! I am now stronger and more confident than I have ever been.  If you want to lose inches and feel better about yourself mentally and physically, then this is the only place to go.  I have been to gyms for the past 30 years and none compare to the challenge and results you get from Blue Wave!
